Donations

Section 1: The BNB Management has the right to refuse any item that may be considered “questionable” and not listed in this SOP

Section 2: Items not accepted for consignment or donations are:

Appliances:
• Ovens/Stoves & Washing Machines

Automotive:
• Automotive parts (to include tires) or large automotive accessories

Baby Items
• Breast pumps, bottle nipples, pacifiers
• Car seats

Clothing:
• Adult (Ladies & Mens) Clothing ON CONSIGNMENT UNTIL POSTED (Donations accepted) (EXCEPTION: Formals, Military or maternity clothing, purses, hats, & ties)
• Belts
• Exercise clothing (adult one-piece or athletic undergarments)
• Lingerie / Sleepwear (adult) (EXCEPTION: adult robes)
• Shoes (EXCEPTION: Military & *LIKE NEW* children’s shoes up to 13's)
• Swimwear (adult)
• Undergarments (i.e. bras, pantyhose, girdles, bodysuits, socks, etc.)

Electronics:
• Answering machines (with or without phones)
• Cell phones
• Computers or any computer components (i.e. scanners, printers, modems, etc.)
• Cordless telephones (with or without answering machines)
• Office machines (i.e. copy, fax, etc.)
• Outdoor TV antennas
• Speakers/stereos unless part of a “plug & play” system
• VCR / DVD players

Furniture & Rugs:
• Mattresses, box springs, or foam pads (EXCEPTION: Crib mattresses may be brought in with crib and given to the customer at time of purchase)
• Office furniture (EXCEPTION: Desks & chairs at Manager’s discretion.)
• Particle Board furniture (in its raw, unfinished state)
• Rugs or carpets larger than 5’ x 7’

Home Improvement:
• Building materials of any kind (to include doors, windows, etc.)
• Garage door openers
• Paint
• Wallpaper or wallpaper borders House Wares:
• Canning jars (not in a full case)
• Clotheslines (expandable)
• Coffee cups/mugs (with or without saucers) UNLESS UNIQUE or COLLECTIBLE
• Dish drainers (plastic)
• Dish sets less than 16 pieces
• Drinking glasses/mugs NOT in a set (set must not be mismatched)
• Ice Cube Trays
• Shower curtain liners
• Window mechanisms (i.e. blinds, rods, shades, etc.)

Media:
• Cassette tapes (EXCEPTION: Books on tape or language tapes)
• Magazines
• Personally recorded videos, cassette tapes, or CDs
• Photographs (personal and/or group)
• Record albums (LPs)
• Text books

Miscellaneous:
• Coins or money of any kind
• Craft supplies not in complete sets (to include fabric pieces)
• Firearms, ammunition, or weapons of any kind (including sporting knives)
• Fluids of any kind
• Food or food containers of any kind (to include beverages)
• Fuel operated machines containing any fuels or fuel residue
• Gas cans, lighters, burned candles, or other flammable items
• Government issued items
• Incomplete Decorative/Picture Frames (ie. no backing and/or face plate)
• Medical supplies
• Obscene items
• Personalized items (to include event or organization titled items)

Outdoor / Garden:
• Hoses (water)
• Rubber rafts/boats/floats
• Swing sets
• Tents larger than 2-man

Personal Hygiene:
• Hair/skin accessories (i.e. barrettes, brushes, curlers, makeup, hairpieces)
• Hair-care appliances unless brand new (ie. Curling irons, dryers)
• Personal hygiene items (i.e. foot spas, saunas, razors, pottys/commodes, etc.)

Section 3: Exceptions to the above list may be made at the discretion of BNB Management but the item must be unopened, brand new, and/or with its original packaging or sales tags attached.
