Purpose

The purpose of the FBATS is to:

1. Serve the Fort Bragg area by providing a means of exchange by authorized military ID cardholders of used clothing and merchandise, consistent with the direction and intent of AR 210-1 paragraph 4-2.
   
   
2. Through funds generated by the FBATS, distribute monetary aid to worthy charitable, scientific, literary, educational and welfare activities, scholarship funds, projects on the installation, local off-post community organizations who directly benefit the installation community, and to overseas military service-related organizations whose activities directly impact the welfare of our troops.
