Disbursement Of Welfare Funds- All funds generated by the BNB shall be distributed in accordance with Article III, Section 2 of the constitution. (See purpose).
- The funds for distribution will be determined by the specified prior year contribution to the welfare bank account as per Article VIII, Section 11: paragraph (C) of the constitution.
- The board shall vote upon welfare fund distribution during the months of March and October of each fiscal year. (One half of the available funds will be considered for the March distribution. The remaining balance will be considered for the October distribution.)
- An exception to this policy shall be any requests of urgent need that are specifically referred to BNB for consideration. Any such request will be considered at the first board meeting after receipt of the request and with the approval of the CEO and the Honorary CEO and/or Advisor.
- Requests for consideration must be received no later than a date to be determined by the Board based on calendar consideration.
- Requests for funds must be in writing on the requesting organization’s letterhead and a completed BNB Welfare Request form must be attached. No exceptions will be made.
- The BNB may consider donations to other post installation projects presented at the monthly Post Information Update meeting. The CEO will be responsible for presenting such projects to the Board for consideration approval. If approved, the Deputy CEO will then complete further follow-up prior to presentation for welfare dollar approval.
